Our Mission

We are artists, strategists, organizers and dreamers working hand-in-hand with communities to make lasting change. Our mission is to center creatives in the organizing process, infusing movements with culturally relevant and informed content.

Our Mission
Founded in 2010, TaskForce is a cultural agency that builds capacity and community for the most influential nonprofits, brands and people who are taking on the most pressing challenges facing our state, our nation and our world. We understand the role that creative culture plays in shaping public opinion and thus policy. TaskForce is the industry gold standard for agencies working at the intersection of Culture and Social Change and our work has resulted in some of the most highly acclaimed and influential public campaigns. TaskForce not only reaches audiences, but organizes communities and help them understand complex challenges, to help them understand their power in shaping outcomes, and inspires them to get involved and take action. We create culture to change culture.
Our Approach

We push the boundaries of what is possible and want you to do the same - by centering our work in culture and the arts, we can imagine and execute against even the most audacious goals. A cultural strategy approach to engagement means we focus not only on reaching audiences, but rather to help them understand complex challenges, to care about outcomes, to contribute to the process and ultimately, to inspire them to take action. We work in collaboration with our partners and clients to develop the strategic foundation that underpins their goals, the creative assets to express them, and the results they need to shift culture.

Our History

TaskForce was founded in 2010 following the completion of the Obama Hope Campaign, which was commissioned and made viral by our founder. Since then, our work has resulted in some of the most highly acclaimed and influential public campaigns on behalf of clients that include the United Nations Foundation, the White House, The Nature Conservancy, The MacArthur Foundation, Rock The Vote, The County of Los Angeles, Amnesty International and beyond. In 2020, we supported organizations across the country as they navigated a new digital landscape during a global pandemic and campaign cycle. The Into Action Lab became the largest social justice content library on the internet.
